Sardis United Methodist Church wanted to start live streaming their service to Facebook. We installed three different cameras, ensuring all angles of the sanctuary would be covered. A unique challenge was having to run all the lines in the attic through a protective conduit, and to pass that wire through the old wood walls without splitting the wood. Head installer, Jason Alexander, did a great job finding solutions for wiring in their historic building.

The cameras were all networked and powered over the network cable (POE). Sardis UMC provided a laptop computer on which we loaded the vMix video switching and streaming software.

A physical controller is used to position the cameras and vMix is used to do their video switching and streaming to Facebook. We also pulled a dedicated audio feed off their soundboard so people streaming would have clear audio.
